They say it takes a village to raise a child, and the same is true for the Helping Hands Street Library! There have been lots of hands involved in making the Helping Hands Street Library a reality and a great spot for families to visit.
The library was built by ParraParents at a workshop run by The Bower, with funding from City of Parramatta Council. Painted with assistance from local artist Marcela Ordonez and Bristol Paints Guildford West. Installed thanks to Liveable Parramatta. And will be maintained in partnership with the Bells Road Social cafe.
Now you can enjoy a book over a yummy lunch at the Bells Road Social cafe or while the kids play in Fred Robertson Reserve, with a playground, scooter/bike track, bushland great for building teepees in and a bushwalk.
