Jabiru Public Library purchased 5 Street libraries to be placed throughout the West Arnhem Region in the Northern Territory. This is a map of the region we cover.
This large area in Arnhem Land is home to many First Nations families who are cut off from access to townships because of seasonal rains ie Wet Season Dry Season. We can now promote literacy by way of the Street Library initiative. Jabiru Public Library symbolises a lifelong commitment to literacy among the communities in the West Arnhem wards
