After hearing an interview on radio about this fabulous idea, I started to imagine how I could create something fun and appealing for our small community . I have display cabinet that I had salvaged, waiting for some TLC, perfect I thought. Armed with some spray cans and brushes, I gave this little piece and new lease of life and purpose.
I hope our Street Library enriches our small community by promoting conversation and social engagement
While shopping at our organic veggie stall, adults and children can have a fossick through to find a book they would like for free. it's quirky, it's fun and I hope creates community engagement.
