Kathy WARD – Melbourne

Kathy WARD’s little free library!

I have travelled a lot along with my children – two of them even adopted from overseas (hence “recycled”). My Little Free Library has a Middle Eastern/Indian theme and has been made entirely from recycled/discarded/donated materials – starting with a wooden toy cot that I found in an alley near here. This area is very multicultural and close to a university that has students from many different parts of the world. As a trained ESL teacher I know the value of learning a language/learning to read and being able to communicate in the society in which you live. Friends donated some of their books and friends and strangers a little of their time to actually erect it. Peace and mutual generosity in the world please!
