Through the generosity of the local council we obtained the Street Library.
Two of our wonderful local community members (Gretchen & Bryan) painted the Street Library with vibrant purples and greens.
It now stands proud on out letter box for all that walk past to enjoy.
There is a dead-end street,
Where people like to meet
We now have an added treasure
A street library for the community's pleasure.
At the house in Linda Ave,
It may surprise you that we have,
Some books for you to read,
Even a space for you to leave...
A spare book for all to share,
Place it in the Street Library with care.
