We come from a family of librarians, so our love of books has been instilled in us from a very early age. Our son was born with condition causing dual sensory loss, and books have always been a very important part of his early therapy and communication development. Our community has been very important to us in providing the support we needed as a family to get through those early years of coming to terms with living with a degenerative rare genetic condition.
It’s time now to give back to our lovely local community with a street library aimed at providing a sense a happiness and hope in these challenging times.
