I first heard about Little Free Libraries when I came across a story about them written by a woman named Linzee McCray on the Etsy Blog. Not only did I find the whole concept inspiring but after looking at the map I also discovered that Little Free Libraries are few and far between down here in Australia. I think mine will be the 3rd and we are a big country with room for lots more – I’m hopeful that we will see them springing up all over the place in the not too distant future. Anyhow…that was last year and following a bit of handy work (courtesy of my husband) I am very excited to say that today we put the first books into our Library!! Now I guess we are officially ready to go on the map. I am more than happy to be a part of such a wonderful worldwide movement. Sincerely, Kim Sansom
