Kinda-Mindi Early Learning Centre Claymore Street Library

60 Arkley Avenue, Claymore, Australia

Pass on a love of reading to your family by exploring our street library. Take a book, share it with your loved ones, return it and even donate one of your own to share with others in our wonderful local community.

One of the greatest gifts we can give children is our time. Using that time to read together can create a special bond and inspire a love of reading. Reading together can benefit you and your family in countless ways. We hope our street library will support the connection of people to information and connecting people to people. Books provide an opportunity to help us understand ourselves, develop critical thinking, develop basic language skills, share cultural experiences, and profoundly expand language and literacy skills. We look to our community to assist us in supporting this initiative. Our library works on an honesty system with the motto “take, share, give”. We hope our community library brings joy and becomes a place that locals come to share the joys of reading and pass on a love of literature to the next generation.
The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go! – Dr. Seuss.
