In 2020 KU Children’s services has been giving back to the community for 125 years. To celebrate this achievement we wanted to share more of the the KU kindness our local community. We LOVE books at KU Kangaroo so after conversations and brainstorming with the children our Street Library project was born. We all worked together and collected 125 books to fill our library. Amanda Hinkleman, Wiradjuri artist and mother to one of our children created the beautiful artwork on the library, which now proudly stands out the front of our preschool.
A children's book street library for all the children in our local community to come a enjoy books as much as we do.
