Kurrajong Kids Street Library

21 Hills St, Young, New South Wales 2594, AU

A collection of quality children's books including board books, picture books, beginner readers, early chapter books, middle grade fiction and graphic novels looking for a new home.

The family of four behind Kurrajong Kids Street Library are avid readers. Primary School teacher and mother of two, Kate, loves to rescue quality children’s literature from second hand stores. She is hoping this street library will encourage lots of local children to practise their reading skills and maybe one day find that special book that wins them over to the joy of reading!

The family have a Kurrajong sapling growing in their front yard, hence the name Kurrajong Kids Street Library. The library was painted by the whole family with our favourite colours.

A feature of this street library is a collection of beginner readers and early chapter books suitable for developing readers.

The library is updated weekly.

Also there is an all ages Street Library up the road which is highly recommended!
