Our Ladybird Street Library is located near the footpath along the front fence and shares a garden bed with a mini-community garden. Community members and visitors are welcome to borrow/add books and also harvest any produce growing along the fence.
Our street library and mini-community garden is cared for by group of approximately 10 children and guided by Kirstie, their educator. These children care deeply about sharing books with others in our community and absolutely love growing and cooking with food from the garden. Our Street Library (and garden) is a beautiful connection and contribution to our greater community.
The top shelf of our Ladybird Street Library is dedicated to grown-up books and children’s books are located on the bottom shelf.
