Our Library was allocated to us through a community partnership with the Inner West Council and Library Australia. We received it for free having submitted an application.
Our library was then painted by one of our local community and council members who is a member of the Gadigal people. Deborah painted stories unique to the Gadigal land on our library. We are so excited for the community to enjoy this new library.
Leichhardt Family Day Care Library is a great street library to visit as we regularly change the books within the library as we have a collection of over 200 books waiting to be shared. We have a smorgasbord of topics covered including sci-fi, romance, health, cooking, fitness, novels for both young and old and picture books. Come past and browse anytime.
