Library staff heard about little free libraries and thought it would be good to locate one in an area where there were lots of visitors. The concept was explained to the Mundaring Community Men’s Shed who jumped on board kindly donating their expertise, time, and materials to create a beautiful little free library for the community. Shire staff located a suitable spot at Sculpture Park in Mundaring, and library staff stocked it to get the ball rolling. The library is being well-used, and people have supported the “Take a book, leave a book” ethos of little free libraries.
The little free library is located in the unparalleled surroundings of Sculpture Park, a popular family-friendly park with a wonderful playground and picnic areas
Located at:Sculpture Park, Jacoby Street, Mundaring, WA, Australia
