Maintaining a street library embodies the philosophy of community sharing and accessibility to knowledge. It serves as a vibrant hub where individuals can freely exchange books, fostering a culture of reading and learning. It is hoped our Community Library will promote literacy and provide resources to those who may not have easy access to traditional libraries. By encouraging people to donate, borrow, and return books, our library will create a sense of ownership, responsibility and strengthen community bonds. We believe that knowledge should be available to all, regardless of socioeconomic status, and that sharing resources can lead to a more informed and connected society.
We aim to instil the love of reading in all children. Our community library is accessible to all members of the community at any time of the day . With a range of reading material for all age groups.
