We first had the idea to open a street library during Melbourne’s Covid lockdown. My handy husband repurposed a suitable cabinet and our neighbours moved and downsized their book collection. This meant our street library could become a reality. I can’t wait to keep it well stocked with good reads! What’s not to love about community and a good book to read? 😊
