Our street library started as a small idea from a few congregation members at the Uniting Church.
I put my hand up to run with idea.
I was given an old bar fridge and put my crafty skills to work and decoupaged the fridge with all sorts of lovely pictures.
My next door neighbour made the stand.( Chuck Loveridge)
My husband( Mark May) and a congregation member( Moss Potter) made the gorgeous little roof to top it off.
We love that this is a great community service for residents and travellers alike
We have had many people use the library.
Our beautifully decorated library is located on Taylor Street Kadina in front of the Uniting Church.
