I had seen this lovely idea on fb, and as we get lots of foot traffic past our place I realised we had an ideal position for a little library. So my friend Martin constructed it, I painted and stocked it, and my husband Alan erected it. A joint effort. I’ve already taken out one book I want to read! I love books, and hated trying to get rid of them! Now I can rest happy knowing they will give pleasure to other people with a passion for reading! I now have to NOT hover around looking like the Wicked Witch from Hansel and Gretel awaiting visitors! I hope people are able to see it properly as Council wanted it back from the footpath.
Excited! My husband erected my library while I was away, and there was already a book left when I arrived home. Please come share!
