Lockdown Library

8 Evon Avenue Ringwood East VIC 3135

A beautiful creation of the Melbourne COVID lockdown!!
A good variety of books, with lots of locals frequently passing and contributing

This library was born out of the Melbourne COVID lockdown in 2020!
The silver lining of being stuck at home was that we had a lot more engagement with the neighbours in the street, and have built some good friendships. Our family wanted to do something to contribute to the community feel in our street, and in the greater neighbourhood, and this was the result. We even had another local say they “wish they were on such a cool street”

We have a lot of local walkers coming through the area, and a kinder several doors up, so we are seeing a constant stream of people using and contributing to the library, and a good variety of books coming in. Come and visit soon!
