A recycled and restored cheery little beacon on Melford St awaits to share and borrow books. Two sections, one for primary age kids and the other, an older reader section.
To encourage the sharing of books in our street and beyond and encouraging people to stop and talk. The library was made from a found a cupboard, lovingly restored and stocked by our kids (9 and 6 years) ready for business on day 1 of Term 4 this year. The kids were determined to have the message recycle throughout out, of the library and of the quality books inside.
