Set up when our local library closed during COVID, we started with books from a deceased estate and our own collection. It’s popularity grew quickly as people heard about it. They travel from around town to come to our little library. Books are swapped regularly and when they have been there for awhile, donated to the local chaplain appeal book fair. Old books, damaged books and books that are not appealing to our readers are not put in. It is mobile, so rolled in and out each day, but under the carport where people can access it when it is raining. It is kept current, neat and tidy. It now has a regular reading community who bring books, take books and swap books.
Donated books from shelves are freed,
with much variety to read.
Regular donations from readers ours
is rolled in and out to protect from rain showers!
