Michael always wanted a library named after him and now he has one! He devoured books of all different genres. Every week, he’d buy a pile of hard book new release books, read them, and then share them with his friends. He regularly treated his children to evening library visits and browsed the shelves for hours. With his daughter, he saw two of his favourite authors giving book talks; Wilbur Smith and Bill Bryson. Books connected him with his family and friends and took him to all corners of the universe. Michael’s street library aims to continue the tradition of sharing Michael’s pleasure for reading books with the local community.
