This is a community affair from the ground up. I approached our local mens shed to construct our street library, a local business helped fund the making of it and I asked a local artist to paint it and we got donations from the community and also from the School’s library that was being rotated out. It is not only a story of our Street Librarys’ beginning but in fact it is a story on how our community is and how I am proud to be a part of it.
Our library is in a fantastic spot in our little community. Right in front of the playground and next to the V-Line bus stop, so while you are taking a swing before hoping on the bus come and take a look at what we have to offer.
Located at:Stevenson Street, Murchison, VIC, 3610
