I have long wanted to do a little street library and when I moved to beautiful Mystery Bay on the NSW South Coast it was the perfect opportunity, especially when a little bar fridge became available at no cost! The project “Mystery Bay Little Street Library” quickly became a family project with my sons and grandchildren installing it and enthusiastically getting involved creating its wonderful sea themed decorations, complete with a montage of Montague Island and its lighthouse. Many many people comment on our little library and say how much they love and appreciate it and it has become quite a gathering point for the locals and campers and visitors to stop and chat so creating a lovely sense of community revolving around a shared love of books and reading!!
This is a wonderful sea themed decorated little street library at Mystery Bay on the South Coast of NSW. It is heavily used by both the locals and by those who come and camp in the nearby campground so there is always a wonderful, ever changing, range of books in it.
Located at:Mystery Bay Car Park, Mystery Bay Road, Mystery Bay, NSW 2546
