My library is made from recycled materials. It was a cabinet on the wall in my laundry when I moved in. A friend took out 2 doors slats and put Perspex in. He made a roof with old tin and I edged the sharp edge with old hose pipe.
I have hung a bag of disinfectant wipes on the door for anyone concerned about germs.
I am a community spirited person who loves the green leafy area that I live in.
My beautiful library has been built just at the right time. Covid -19 saw our municipal libraries close, and all the neighbourhood started walking past mine. I have adults and children’s books, and DVDs. Soon there will be a bucket of lemons and some succulent plants on the the bottom shelf for the taking.
