I am a voracious reader and have a constant turnover of books and I love the idea of community sharing. Ive been planning a street library for ages. My favorite books are accounts of modern day adventurers – walking the Nile, horseback across Mongolia, trekking in Iran, living alone on a desert island – that sort of thing. I also read good fiction, quirky or interesting stuff, historical themes. Not so much into crime or romance stories but I do read the odd one. Im hoping to swap books with like minded people.
No "old dusty books" in my library! Plenty of new stuff, good fiction (and occasional non fiction) plus a few DVDs. No kids books.
