This street library was a special birthday gift. We installed it after moving addresses to help us connect with our new neighbours. As it is an apartment building we selected a colour scheme that would help it blend in but also stand out (if that makes sense?) … It’s on a bustling street with lots of residents, workers, cafes etc and activity during the day and night. It has been a great success – it has ‘humanised’ the street and we have met lots of our neighbours got some great books out of it. We love it!
