Paint The Ridge REaD Street Library

Opal Park, Lighting Ridge NSW 2834

Our Street Library provides an opportunity of children and families to read, borrow or swap a range of reading materials.
It supports relationships, literacy and learning.

Our Street Library supports our Paint The Ridge REaD community capacity building project which promotes Relationships, Literacy and Learning. The PTRR Dhinawan’s ( our mascot is an emu – dhinawan) motto is to … “Talk, Read, Sing and Rhyme with your child all the time”.
We have introduce it to our community at the Dhinawans 3rd Birthday at the Opal Park on Saturday 26th March 2022 and we have put in at a community consultation to move it to the new play space being developed with a red bench under the trees, with emu foot prints leading from the street library to the bench.
