Petite Ian Street Library.

29 Ian Street Maroubra, NSW, 2035, Australia

We're a little bit French and a whole lot book nerdy, the Petite Ian Street Library is now open near the French International School of Sydney in Maroubra.

One day I dream of owning a bookshop like the https://matakanavillagebooks.co.nz/
The Petite Ian Street library is my way of beginning that journey. A chance to share my love of books which has been encouraged and expanded by my incredible mother-in-law.

Both my daughters have both been educated at Lycee Condorcet, the French School, which is about 60 metres from the Street Library. Our house has lots of foot traffic at school times, so we expect a mix of English and French books.

Our house is full of cookbooks too, so I expect a few of those from before we went plant based will make their way back into a meat house via the Petite Ian Street Library.

I read a lot of spiritual and soul-enriching works and I hope to see a few of those come back to me from the universe.

On the whole, I hope my library brings the power of discovering and reading things people wouldn’t normally read, to anyone who opens the door and dives on in.
