We started a book club which was lots of fun allowing the love of reading to return to our busy lives with a “reason” to read again. It was an extension of the renewed joy of reading we decided to set up a street library so we could share the books we have read and encourage others to find a new reason to read again or for the first time!
At the junction of busy Prospect Road and the quiet leafy suburban side street, Bosanquet Avenue, this library has proved popular with families with children’s books quickly borrowed and children keenly checking for new books! Novels for older reads are sought after with contents of the library turning over regularly with books borrowed and donated.
