Michelle and Aaron Pont have set up this library in addition to their shop, Renewed Albury where Michelle sells Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paints, accessories and renewed furniture pieces.
After spending the last 10 years overseas, in NZ, England and France, they returned to Australia after their businesses were badly affected by Brexit and Covid and Aaron obtaining a job in Albury.
Michelle decided to use her lifelong passion of renewing furniture and chalk painting and so set up Renewed Albury, renewing their lives and starting life and work back in Australia.
Renewed Albury first began in a small shop in Kiewa St. Then once they bought a property in North Albury their energy went into utilizing the large shed/workshop to create a place to sell paints as well as run workshops.
From there Michelle decided to join the growing Street Library community. These libraries are a great way to share books, take a book or leave a book. It’s totally free. There is no joining fee or membership. There is no limit to the time you keep a book just return it after you have enjoyed it. Michelle likes to take her time to read a book so it suits her perfectly. It is such a nice way to share good reads also.
A great little library for anyone to visit. Pick up a book on your way past and drop off books to share.
