I first had a Street Library a few years ago at my last house in Bendigo after reading about it online. Started out with a tiny cabinet, but it became so popular that I had to buy filing cabinets to keep all the many books in.
It was an utter delight as I got to know many of my neighbours as we’d often meet and share books that we all liked.
My intention is the same for this new Street Library in a much smaller community.
Only one in Rochester, which is a lovely rural community of about 5,000 people.
I have books for everyone.
Located at:16 Dawson Street, Rochester, Victoria, Australia.
