Prior to COVID we used to have a book exchange in the foyer of our service for families to utilise. Sadly we had to disband this during COVID. One of our Educators suggested when we were ready to start it back up again that maybe we could offer it to the larger community. Educators sourced an old TV cabinet that was undercoated and the children covered it with their artwork and marks. One of our families added the perspex in the doors to keep the dust out and our maintenance person fixed it to a post at our front door so everyone could access it.
We offer children's books, puzzles and some adult reads. Occasionally you will find some seedlings or seeds that the children have grown or harvested from our garden.
