Street Library Australia contacted us to set up a Street Library because they wanted to grow the amount of Street Libraries they currently have in the Northern Territory. The Ross Park SRC very happily took on the job. We have a lot of very keen readers at Ross Park School. We know our students will have plenty books they can donate and will love reading the books that are available in our Street Library.
Our Street Library will be kept out the front of our school near the front office. Members from our school community and even members from the Alice Springs community can access the Street Library.
Basically, you take a book you want to read then you can either bring it back or pass it on to a friend. You can also donate a book to the Street Library if you have read it and you want to share it with others.
