Our little library celebrates my Granny’s love of May Gibbs and how the stories were woven throughout my childhood with such magic. All the materials were upcycled to create the library and stand with some piece donated by our local community. David Keal, a talented retired carpenter, built the library and it was painted by Altona artist Dovey Dee, both of whom donated their time. The Altona and Seaholme community donate books ensuring a great selection for various ages and interests .
An ode to May Gibbs, nestled between the rustle of leaves sits our little library. Take a book smell the roses breathe in life. Enjoy
