Springvale 1 world of learning

Springvale 1 World of Learning, 67 Balmoral Avenue, Springvale VIC, Australia

We are thrilled to promote the significance of early literacy and lifelong reading for individuals of all ages by offering an exceptional range of multicultural books. Our collection spans from delightful children's stories to engaging reads for adults, celebrating diverse cultures and fostering a love for reading in everyone.

With meticulous attention to detail, artist T Kennedy, a proud Barkindji woman from Broken Hill/Wilcannia, now based in Melbourne, designed this library as part of our Reconciliation Action Plan. Launched during NAIDOC Week 2024, this contemporary Aboriginal art symbolizes our center’s philosophy: “It takes a village to raise a child.”

Our early learning center and kindergarten emphasise the importance of fostering early literacy to cultivate a lifelong love for reading. We believe that reading stories ignites a child’s imagination and curiosity, helping them distinguish between reality and make-believe.

Our service has established strong connections with the Springvale Library, organised literacy and phonetic sessions for children, and provided preschool and center-wide libraries for families.
