We purchased our street library last year during Covid lockdowns at our preschool. The children who attended during lockdown were involved in painting and decorating our street library. Collaborating with the children was a positive and creative experience and a lovely project to work on together. This was especially relevant during different circumstances where many of the children’s friends were not at preschool. Our street library has been installed at the front of our preschool. We check our library regularly to ensure our books continue to entice and inspire young readers within our community.
We are a community based preschool in the beautiful leafy suburb of St Ives. We are thrilled to share the love of reading with our community, especially our younger readers. Come and visit our street library and see our wonderful range of children's books!
