It all started when I donated all my spare books to a street library. I just couldn’t get the idea out of my head!!! So… I decided to create one of my own!
I bought all the materials second hand and set about creating a magical little space. I love making things beautiful, so I dreamed up a lovely space and it came to reality just as I had imagined it!
I grew up reading – I think books were my hero and a big part of who I am today. I spend a lot of my time writing (I have even written my own book!) which all comes from my diet of words growing up.
I hope that this beautiful little space helps to create a connection with words, particularly for young people. My youngest children are very excited about helping me manage the library!!
