Stubbs Street Library

We first saw a Street Library in a well used carpark, and childrens’ play area, in Kojonup, as a stopping place between Albany and Perth. We have seen them dotted about and decided we should get into the system, with our own books. We ordered the kit, assembled and painted it. Andrew modified the fixates, bu using screws and glue rather than the small nails, and used bolts to hold the door hinges securely. Some angled aluminium strip along the apex of the roof guarantees heavy rain proofing and will protect the exposed plywood ends, along the roofline.
