I LOVE getting books from a Street Library. We have been wanting to put one in our garden for ages, and wanted to reuse a cupboard. We could never find one, so when we got a new kitchen in July, we kept one cupboard to trial having a Street Library. I designed the outside, as it has no glass and painted my little heart out. My darling husband helped me put it together and ‘plant’ it in our garden border. Job done and we are happy!
It is new; it is fresh; it is for everyone. Take and leave books. Hand sanitiser is hanging in a tree left of the library.
