We (Tim and Lucy) love everything about street libraries and always enjoy the random book browsing they encourage on our walks around the place. Tim made our library entirely out of recycled materials, with the help of two French wwoofers (now friends) and is still adding the occasional flourish. I can see it from where I work at the kitchen table and it makes me so happy to see people making a dedicated journey to it.
Our library lives on our front verge which has a frog pond and a beautiful micro ecosystem of natives from the Swan coastal plain. Come and select a book or drop one off. There's also a basket for excess lemons and other produce and a place to leave a note.
