Hidden in the heritage listed Abattoir Heritage Precinct, finding the library in the courtyard gardens of Abattoir Blues is an experience in itself.

The introduction of a street library in Sydney Olympic Park came to life through strong collaboration between council, commercial and residents. The Homify project, led by Sydney Olympic Park Authority was launched in attempt to see ways in which, both short and long term, they are able to improve community engagement and community spirit within a rapidly growing area. This street library was a direct result of this project.
