The Beacon on Rose

The outer inner west mecca of pretentious, outrageous, gregarious, scandalous and salacious books of all ages.

An original, commissioned by Francois Le Fournier (brother of Alain Christophe Fournier who authored Le Grand Meaulnes) and built by German set designer and architect Herr Sidney Sam Norman (distant cousin of Le Corbusier), who now resides in Hamburg with Jozef Franz Driver. This is Francois and Sarah Le Fournier’s second street library after Trashfield Public. In the words (and accent of Gabrielle Gate), enjoy!
