The Book Cache is a Little Street Library in Waramanga. It came about because I wanted to do something for the community but was having mobility problems. I decided that if I couldn’t go out and do volunteer work I would bring people to me and help them here. Thus The Book Cache was born with the aim of bringing people who share my interest in books here where I could provide them with books.
Cache has a number of meanings. The important one here is that it can be a storage place for things one treasures. My ‘cache’ stores my treasures – books.
