I had trouble reading when I was younger. I can remember feeling very frustrated. I was at the newsagents with Mum and there was a rack of books called Sweet Dreams and they were $2. They were romance books for teens and I was hooked. I would pester Mum at every opportunity and would power read through them. I actually collected the entire set for my own daughter because I loved them so much. They might’ve been kind of daggy, but they helped me to read and from then on my reading took off. I became a law librarian and just love the beauty of words.
