The pre school children at Oatley West ELC lovingly decorated and named this street library. It was important to us at Oatley West ELC to show the children how giving/ sharing with others and contributing to a shared cause can promote a sense of achievement and strengthen the children’s sense of community. Our mission is to share the love of reading, contribute to a sustainable cause and build a sense of community.

Stroll over to our beautiful street library located in Stevens reserve. Take a seat at one of the benches in the sun or bring the children and have a picnic on the grass, relax and emerge yourself in one of the many books to choose from. Take a book, leave a book and enjoy the endless joy of reading and storytelling.
