The Book Worm

44 Prospect Road Prospect

Our street Library is located and visible from Prospect Road designed as its name 'The Book Worm'. Come over and join our community spirit and take a book, give a book or share a book and see the great design.

A few months ago we saw a great opportunity to grow our community connections by applying to the Prospect council street library grant.
We were gratefully gifted our street library which is where our Story begins.
Once receiving our library we shared the good news with our Families and displayed a design competition. We had lots of children, staff and parents create their own street library. The next steps were to find the winner, one of our talented educators won the design competition with the theme around learning and creativity which developed into ‘the book worm’ idea. Our educator then spent the next few weeks drawing the design onto the library and then painted over it all with colour.
We invited our parents to donate books and share our great new street Library.
Our library’s story has only begun and we are super excited to see where this leads us and how this will bring our community together.
