The Bossley Street Library

Belfied Rd, Bossley Park, NSW, Australia

The Bossley Street Library celebrates our diverse community, offering free books to inspire curiosity and lifelong learning. It fosters literacy, connection, and shared stories in South Western Sydney.

Bossley Park High School is a large co-educational high school located on Darug land, proudly serving the South Western Sydney community since 1988. We celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of our students and their families, and are committed to fostering a love of learning and literacy for all. This street library is a symbol of our commitment to serving our diverse community, inviting both students and local residents to borrow or donate books. This initiative aims not only to improve literacy rates but also to cultivate a sense of community engagement and wellbeing. By providing free access to a range of reading materials, the street library encourages curiosity, lifelong learning, and a shared passion for stories, while also creating a welcoming space for students and the broader community. The floral design of our street library also acknowledges the history of our school, which is located on land that was once a flower and fruit farm.
