The Keeping Books Cool Library

75 Deptford Avenue, Kings Langley 2147, NSW, Australia

Visit our up-cycled mini fridge library to borrow, read, or donate and keep reading!

Inspired by other local street libraries, our youngest family member wanted to become a street librarian. So we set out to create our own using up-cycled materials. We sourced an old mini fridge to use as our weatherproof library and the kids decorated it. We have a range of books for kids (from toddlers, to early readers and chapter books) and grown ups, as well as some activities (colouring in, find-a-words, collector cards) in the freezer compartment. The library is regularly tidied and updated by our mini-Librarian.
