Our library is the result of planning and creating in response to the love of reading and Street Libraries everywhere, and to be productive with more time at home across 2020 due to Covid-19. It is made entirely from repurposed and recycled materials in keeping with attempts to be more environmentally aware as is the vision of Street Libraries.
It came to be placed at the school after the student responsible took it on as a project to make , and a commitment to maintain the library, in partnership with the school.
The student was as appreciative of the schools support in their community endeavor as the school was to have the Library installed. The student and the school look forward to working with everyone to ensure the library’s success and hope it brings much pleasure to all who use it.
Our Library is gift to the St Agnes School and wider community featuring books for all ages.
