Thomas Roseby Lodge Street Library

388 Illawarra Road, Marrickville NSW 2204

The heart of our Street Library beats with the constant ebb and flow of books, providing our neighbours with unrestricted access to literature 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This has become a source of great joy and enrichment for our community, as people of all ages now have the opportunity to enjoy the world of stories and knowledge at their convenience.

The launch of our Street Library proved to be an outstanding achievement, filled with joy and excitement. We were honoured to host a special guest – the beloved pelican mascot from the “Paint the Town REaD” program, who added an extra layer of delight to the festivities. Our residents, without exception, were elated to participate in this memorable event.

We received the recognition of our local representative, Jo Haylen, who mentioned our Street Library project in parliament. This acknowledgement not only warmed our hearts but also instilled a deep sense of pride within Thomas Roseby Lodge. It’s a testament to the impact and value that our Street Library brings to our neighbourhood.
